Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an applicator sleeve from stimulating or injuring the skin tissue of a user when the applicator sleeve is inserted into a body cavity by placing the front edges of the connected edge planes parallel and close to each other and making the connecting seam smooth by adjusting the edges with the surface of the tubular sleeve in the circumferential direction so that the connecting seam will not protrude out of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: The connecting seam 132 extending in the longitudinal direction of this sleeve is formed by connecting two edge planes of a rectangular blank 122 made of a material including soft cellulose. The edge planes of the sleeve are formed by two longitudinal sides of the blank 122, and the sleeve is used as the outer sleeve and/or inner sleeve of a cylinder liner type applicator. The front edges 142, 144 of the edge planes 128, 130, which are connected to each other, of the blank 122 placed outside the sleeve 120 are placed parallel and close to each other, and are adjusted together to the surface of the tubular sleeve 120 in the circumferential direction. So the connecting seam 132 is substantially smooth and doesn't protrude out of the sleeve 120.
