Abstract:
To provide an applicator capable of supplying an accurately-regulated quantity of a fluid sample onto a substrate.
This applicator for supplying a liquid sample onto the substrate is equipped with at least one supply blade having substantially a rectangular shape, constituting a blade body, a blade tip and two opposite side edge parts of the blade. Each blade has a drain of the blade body formed between the opposite side edge parts of the blade and constituting a physical barrier of the fluid sample, and at least one adjusted opening for holding the fluid sample, arranged between the blade tip and the blade drain, and the opening is adjusted so as to hold inside the accurately-regulated quantity of fluid sample.
