Abstract:
To provide an applicator for facilitating a work for applying an adhesive to inner periphery or outer periphery in the vicinity of an opening of a pipe arranged at a position where the pipe is embedded, especially, an application work of the adhesive to the lower side of the outer periphery of the pipe.SOLUTION: An applicator is composed of: a body which is formed by substantially vertically joining two plate-like members and has an L-shaped cross section in a lengthwise direction; application means provided on one surface on a side where an angle formed by the two plate-like members of the body becomes substantially 90°; and a gripping part provided in a direction parallel to the surface where the application means is provided on a surface on a side where an angle formed by the two plate-like members of the body becomes substantially 270° in the plate-like member on the side where the application means of the body is not provided. The applicator has a mounting structure of the gripping part, and accordingly can operate the gripping part in the state of maintaining a fixed distance with the surface where the pipe is arranged even when the application means is moved to the lower part of the pipe, which improves workability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
