To provide an applicator which makes a coating liquid smoothly ejected from an end of a tip in first writing.

The tip 30 turnably holding a spherical application body 31 is fitted into a central hole at a leading end; a joint 20, wherein an expanded pipe 21 is provided on a tail end side, is attached to a leading end opening of a barrel 10; and a coating liquid tank 40 made of a synthetic resin, whose leading-end cylindrical sealing part 41 is sealed with a stopper plug 44 and whose inside is filled with the coating liquid, is housed in the barrel. When a tail end part of the coating liquid tank, which protrudes from a tail end opening of the barrel in the first writing, is pushed in, the sealing part of the coating liquid tank is expanded by the expanded pipe so that the stopper plug can be moved in the coating liquid tank and the expanded pipe and so that the sealing of the sealing part can be released, and the coating liquid in the coating liquid tank is supplied to the tip so as to be made applicable.
