To apply a material without dipping an applicator element in a container to refill the material by improving an applicator having the applicator element allowing continuous supply.
The applicator includes a container containing cosmetics to be applied and/or caring articles, the applicator element 7 fixed onto the container, and a cap 10 for closing the container 2, with a housing 8 smaller in capacity than the internal space of the container 2 storing a material to be applied. The container includes at least one supply channel for supplying a product to the applicator element 7. The channel is in communication with the internal space of the container when the container is closed with the cap, and is opened out directly to the outer periphery of the applicator element. The channel is disposed to be able to guide the product stored in the container, onto the outer periphery of the applicator element.
