PURPOSE: To eliminate a holding time after discharge, and to stably supply an applying agent by providing a controller for starting an applying operation at a prescribed point of time so that a prescribed applying quantity can be obtained in the vicinity of the next applying position by counting back from a moving distance time stored in a storage device.
CONSTITUTION: In an adhesive agent applying unit 6 being an applying device, an adhesive agent being an applying agent in a syringe 17 is applied onto a printed board 1 by an applying nozzle 16. Also, this device is provided with a storage device for storing a moving distance time extending from an applying position to the next applying position, and a controller for controlling so as to start an applying operation at a desired point of time so that a prescribed applying quantity can be obtained in the vicinity of the next applying position by counting back from the moving distance time stored in the storage device. According to this construction, based on the moving distance time extending from the applying position to the next applying position, stored in the storage device, the controller starts the applying operation at a desired point of time counted back from the moving distance time so that the prescribed applying quantity can be obtained in the vicinity of the next applying position.
