Abstract:
The applicator comprises a heater sleeve (10), into which a rod (35) of fusible thermoplastic is introduced and is moved towards the outlet orifice (24) of the sleeve. The sleeve is surrounded by a heater resistor (22) which is in turn surrounded by a radiant bush (20) to provide an adequate heat exchange for the temperature of the heater sleeve (10) to remain substantially constant without any need for special regulation.
