Title:
PRESSURE SENSITIVE SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3199464
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a pressure sensitive switch mounted on a moving body immediately operate even when the switch comes into contact with an object or a human body in a facial form by sandwiching a spacer having a space part between an upper electrode and a lower electrode, and by providing a cushion material below the lower electrode.
CONSTITUTION: When a belt switch 2 mounted on a moving body 1 comes into contact with an object and the belt switch 2 is deformed thereby, a cushion material 8 on a spring steel plate 9 is compressed and deformed so that a lower electrode 7 is pressed, following the deformation of the spring steel plate 9. The part of the lower electrode 7 corresponding to a space part 10 of a spacer 6 is transferred upward by the pressure force from below the cushion material 8, and is brought into contact with an upper electrode 5 through the space part 10. The belt switch 2 is turned ON, and the moving body 1 is thus stopped. When the belt switch 2 is released from the contact with the object, the belt switch 2 returns to the original condition mainly by the elastic force of the spring steel 9, and the cushion material 8 is restored from the compressed and deformed condition to the original condition.
