PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesion aid for an aqueous adhesive for woody material, which is used for an aqueous adhesive composition, having excellent adhesive strength and water resistance.SOLUTION: An adhesion aid for an aqueous adhesive for woody material contains epoxy-modified polyamine containing polyepoxide and polyamine as constituent monomers; an aqueous adhesive composition for woody material contains the adhesion aid for an aqueous adhesive for woody material (Aα), at least one crosslinker selected from the group consisting of phenolic resin, urea resin, melamine resin, and urea melamine resin, and water.SELECTED DRAWING: None
