Abstract:
To provide an aqueous binder for forming a ceramic with which the dispersibility of a ceramic can be enhanced, thereby the formability of slurry containing the binder is improved, and a ceramic formed body having high strength and good processability can be obtained.
The aqueous binder for forming the ceramic comprises a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (A) 5-40 mass % unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, (B) 1-10 mass % epoxy group-containing monomer expressed by general formula (I) (wherein, R1 is hydrogen or a methyl group), and (C) 50-94 mass % copolymerizable vinyl monomer.
