Abstract:
To obtain an aqueous coating composition holding a balance of contradictory properties between polishing properties and chipping resistance, especially as an intercoating, to provide a method for forming a coating film and to obtain a coated material.
This aqueous coating composition comprises a polyester resin, a crosslinking agent and (a) a core/shell type emulsion having ≥90°C glass transition temperature of core part and/or (b) a crosslinkable resin particle.
