Abstract:
To provide an aqueous coating composition which can impart high interlayer adhesion in recoat, and high adhesiveness between a top coating film and WDB.SOLUTION: An aqueous coating composition contains a coating film formative resin, a curing agent and a pigment, wherein the coating film formative resin contains an acrylic resin and an urethane resin, a percentage content of the urethane resin is 5 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less in 100 mass% of the total of the coating film formative resin and the curing agent, the curing agent contains a melamine resin, the melamine resin contains a hydrophobic melamine resin and a hydrophilic melamine resin, and a percentage content of the curing agent is 40 mass% or more and 60 mass% or less in 100 mass% of the total of the coating film formative resin and the curing agent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
