Abstract:
To provide an aqueous coating composition for the surface treatment of a metallic material, excellent in corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, and adhesion.
In preparing an aqueous coating composition for the surface treatment of a metallic material, containing an aqueous polyurethane resin and a hydrophobic compound, the hydrophobic compound is added to the aqueous polyurethane resin and, together with the aqueous polyurethane resin, is dispersed in water.
