Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating material composition for use in forming a film with excellent durability.
SOLUTION: This aqueous coating material composition is obtained by mixing (A) an aqueous acrylic-urethane copolymer obtained by chain-extending, by means of (e) a chain-extender, a neutralized product of a prepolymer obtained from (a) a polyisocyanate compound, (b) a polyol comprising 5-60 wt.% of an acrylic polyol and 1-40 wt.% of a dimer diol, (c) a compound having an anionically hydrophilic group and two or more active hydrogen atoms and (d) a chin extender, (B) an aqueous emulsion of an acrylic resin having (f) an alkyl methacrylate unit and (g) an alkyl acrylate unit, and (C) an aqueous emulsion of a polycarbodiimide resin, at a ratio of 4-98 wt.% of (A), 1-95 wt.% of (B) 1-10 wt.% of (C) based on weights of respective nonvolatile components.
