Abstract:
To provide an aqueous composition and a method for preparing a non-yellowing coating from this.
The aqueous composition comprising at least one unsaturated fatty acid ester and a polymer with a pendant crosslinking group is provided. This aqueous composition contains a volatile organic compound of lower than 5 wt.% based on the weight of the aqueous composition. The method for preparing the non-yellowing drying crosslinkable coating is provided. This aqueous composition is useful for preparing a crosslinkable coating for coating applications, for example, suitable for building or maintenance paints.
