Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aqueous cosmetic useful for e.g. foundation, superior in the stable dispersibility of the powder, fresh in feeling when used, good in sustainable cosmetic effect and low in irritativeness by including e.g. a powder treated with a specific fluoride and a specific polyethylene glycol.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by including (A) a powder of e.g. titanium oxide treated with a fluoride [e.g. a compound of the formula: (C6F13 CH2CH2O)2P(=O)OH] shown by the formula (CmF2m+1CH2CH2O)nP(=O)(OH)3-n and/or (CmF2m+1CH2CH2O)nP(=O)[ONH2(CH2CH2OH)2]3-n ((m) is 6 to 18; and (n) is 1 to 2) and (B) a polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene block copolymer comprising a polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of ≥2,600 and/or ≥40% of ethylene oxide pref. in the ratios of 1 to 25 wt.% of the component A and 0.1 to 5 wt.% of the component B.
