To obtain an aqueous dispersion composition having a function of developing an adhesive layer having excellent strength, transparency, weather resistance, etc., by making the composition include a resin particle emulsion prepared by subjecting a monomer to emulsion polymerization in the presence of a specific modified polyethylene resin particle under specified conditions, useful as an adhesive composition, etc.
This aqueous dispersion composition comprises contains (A) a complex resin particle and (B) a cross-linking agent. The component A is obtained by forming (ii) an epoxy group side chain-containing copolymer in the presence of (i) a carboxyl group side chain-containing polyolefin-based resin particle. The component B is a cross-linking agent having a function of undergoing a cross-linking reaction with the component (i) and/or the component (ii). Preferably the main chain skeletons of the components (i) and (ii) comprise polyolefin-based substances and the component A is constituted of a copolymer composed of 5-40 wt.% repeating unit containing a carboxyl group side chain of the formula, etc., based on the weight of a copolymer constituting the components (i) and (ii).
