Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyamic acid aqueous dispersion excellent in storage stability as the aqueous dispersion without deteriorating the original heat resistance, electric insulation, mechanical characteristics and the like of a polyimide to be produced, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This polyamic acid aqueous dispersion is obtained by dispersing particles having an average particle diameter of 0.03-5 μm and containing (A) a polyamic acid and (B) a hydrophobic compound capable of reacting with the polyamic acid in the same particles. The method for producing the polyamic acid dispersion comprises reacting the component A with the component B in an organic solvent in a solution state and subsequently mixing the reaction solution with an aqueous solvent.
