Title:
AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF SPHERICAL SILICONE RUBBER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3916740
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of a spherical silicone rubber, excellent in dispersedness and long-term stability and capable of being used as a lubricant, a mold release agent, a cosmetic additive, a coating additive or a synthetic resin additive which impart mold release properties or blocking resistance when added to a water-based material or directly applied thereto.
SOLUTION: This dispersion mainly consists of 30-80 wt.% spherical silicone cured product (A) containing at least 70 mol.% units represented by the general formula: -(R2Si)- in the molecule and having a mean particle diameter of 0.1-100 μm, 0.1-30 wt.% nonionic surfactant (B), 0.01-10 wt.% ionic surfactant (C) and water (D), with the proviso that the B/C weight ratio is 100/100 to 100/0.1.
