Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve stability at emulsion polymerization by preparing an aqueous emulsifying agent for resin dispersion using at least one of compounds which have (meta)acryl group represented by a specific formula.
CONSTITUTION: An aqueous emulsifying agent for resin dispersion is prepared by using one of compounds represented by the formula I (R1: a C 8W30 alkyl group; R2: hydrogen, methyl group; A: a C 2W4 alkylene group, substituted alkylene group; n: integer 1W100). The compound represented by said formula I can be obtained by causing, for example, C 12,14 α-olefinic oxide to react by heat with polyoxyethylene monomethyl ether in the presence of catalyst, and by esterifying the reaction products using (meta)acrylic acid.
