Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an aqueous emulsion type adhesive composition excellent in environmental maintainability, contact property and (water-resistant) adhesion, and useful for bonding building interiors or exteriors and vehicle interiors by adding a specific tackifying resin solution to a polymer emulsion.
CONSTITUTION: The adhesive composition is characterizing by adding (B) a tackifying resin solution comprising 2-50 pts.wt. of a tackifying resin having an acid value of ≥100 and 2-50 pts.wt. of an alcohol such as an alkyl monoalcohol to (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polymer emulsion. The component B in the composition preferably contains 1-20 pts.wt. of an alkaline substance in addition to the tackifying resin and the alcohol.
