Abstract:
Process for obtaining an aqueous emulsion of a water-insoluble additive for insulating products made of synthetic inorganic fibres, characterised in that the insoluble additive is dispersed in the aqueous solution of a cellulose ether by means of a high-performance dispersing apparatus. The cellulose ether employed is preferably a hydroxyethyl cellulose, methyl hydroxyethyl cellulose and/or sodium carboxyethyl cellulose.
