Abstract:

To provide an aqueous emulsion which can easily be produced without using an organic solvent and without a special installation and a troublesome operation, is inexpensive, has excellent storage stability, and further has good adhesiveness, coating film formability, coatability and the like.

This aqueous emulsion is characterized by being obtained by dispersing in water a composition obtained by melt-kneading polylactic acid and a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin in a polylactic acid / polyvinyl alcohol-based resin mass ratio of 99/1 to 30/70.
