Title:
AQUEOUS FLUORORESIN DISPERSION AND ITS PRODUCTION AND APPLICATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3278004
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an aqueous resin composition which allowe good pigment dispersion and has good adherence to a base material without detriment to the weatherability.
CONSTITUTION: A process for the radical emulsion polymerization of a core-shell fluororesin having a structure wherein the inner part of the particle comprises a resin composed essentially of a monomer having at least one fluorine atom in the molecule and the outer part of the particle comprises a resin composed essentially of a fluorine-free monomer in an aqueous medium in the presence of an emulsifier, which comprises the first step of polymerizing a monomer mixture consisting essentially of the fluorinated monomer to give a fluororesin dispersion and the second step of polymerizing a monomer mixture consisting essentially of the fluorine-free monomer in the presence of this fluororesin.
