Abstract:
To provide aqueous gravure ink which can achieve both improvement of defoaming property in gravure printing and suppression of a cissing phenomenon even on a low liquid-absorptive printing medium such as a resin film and can obtain a printed matter of high quality, and a gravure printing method using the same.SOLUTION: The aqueous gravure ink contains crosslinked polymer particles containing a pigment, a water-soluble organic solvent, a fixing resin, a surface active agent and water. The water-soluble organic solvent contains 0.5-11 mass% of specific propylene glycol ether, the surface active agent contains a silicone-based surface active agent, a content of the water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of lower than 100°C is less than 4 mass%, and a content of the water is 50-75 mass%. [2] The gravure printing method performs printing on a low liquid-absorptive printing medium using the aqueous gravure ink.SELECTED DRAWING: None
