Abstract:

To provide an aqueous pour-on preparation of a water-insoluble insect growth retarder (IGR) and a method for treating an animal by using the preparation.

The locally acceptable aqueous pour-on preparation suitable for the external local application to an animal contains an active amount of a water-insoluble insect growth retarder (IGR), a suspending agent, a surfactant or a surfactant mixture, and an aqueous carrier.
