Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the electrochemical deterioration of a hose even inside a vehicle where a current easily flows, and prevent reductions in various physical characteristics like strength or the deterioration of machining or the like for an aqueous medium transport hose having performance stable for a long time, for instance a cooling liquid transport hose for a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A single-layer hose or a multi-layer hose 14 is formed in such a manner that for an innermost layer 16 brought into contact with an aqueous medium to be transported, ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber is used as main component, and a polyolefin resin and a polyamide fiber are mixed therewith. Further, a rubber material having volume intrinsic resistance set to 105 Ωcm or higher is used, which is obtained by curing rubber composition made by blending carbon black at a rate lower than 30 wt.%.
