Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an aqueous resin dispersion which is excellent in stability during standing still and gives, when dried, a film improved in heat seal strength, adhesive strength in water, and capability of sealing in the presence of impurities.
CONSTITUTION: The dispersion is obtd. by dispersing a resin compsn. comprising a styrene-conjugated diene block copolymer and/or its hydrogenation product (A), an ethylenic polymer having a carboxylic acid group or a carboxylic anhydride group (B), and an ethylenic polymer (C) having neither carboxylic group nor its anhydride group in a wt. ratio of component A to the sum of components A, B, and C of 0.05-0.4 and in a wt. ratio of component B to the sum of component B and C of 0.2-1.0 in water using a carboxylated (meth)acrylic resin as a dispersant.
