Abstract:

To provide an aqueous temporary protective coating composition which forms a protective coated film which has an adhesivity at low temperatures, may be released at a wide range of temperature and has a coated film strength allowing no break when released.

The aqueous temporary protective coating composition comprises a copolymer emulsion obtained by reacting a monomer mixture comprising, against 100 pts.wt. total monomer mixture, from 1 to 60 pts.wt. conjugate diene monomer (1) and from 40 to 99 pts.wt. polymerizable monomer (2) which is copolymerizable with monomer (1).
