Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R is H or acyl).
EXAMPLE: N4-Acetyl-5-O-(α-D-glucopyranosyl)-1-β-D-arabinofuranosylcytosine.
USE: An anticancer agent and antiviral agent with small dependence on administration schedule.
PREPARATION: An arabinofuranosylcytosine derivative expressed by formula II as an acceptor and a 6'-substituted sucrose derivative as a donor are subjected to glucosylation using sucrose glucosyltransferase.
