Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc-extinguishing plate having excellent arc-extinguishing performance and durability and also to provide an air circuit breaker equipped with the arc-extinguishing plate.SOLUTION: A ceramic arc-extinguishing plate 10 includes: low thermal expansion ceramics 30 having pores 30b on a surface 30a; a ceramic filling layer 20 which seals the pores 30b; and an arc cooling layer 11 which is formed on the surface 30a of the low thermal expansion ceramics 30 and discharges moisture by heating. By providing this configuration, the ceramic arc-extinguishing plate 10 has excellent arc-extinguishing performance and durability.
