Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc failure detection device capable of performing highly accurate detection by reducing an influence due to a switching noise of an inverter in a PCS(Power Conditioner System) regardless of a configuration of a photovoltaic power generation system or an occurrence position of an arc.SOLUTION: The arc failure detection device comprises: a current sensor 221 provided between a breaker 210 for opening/closing a DC circuit and a DC bus line 300, which detects currents of a DC circuit 201; a frequency analysis part 223 which calculates a frequency spectrum of a specific frequency component of the currents detected by the current sensor 221; a logarithmic arithmetic processing part 224 which performs a logarithmic operation for each frequency of the frequency spectrum; a total sum value arithmetic part 225 which calculates a total sum value of the logarithmic arithmetic values; and an arc failure determination processing part 229 which determines the presence/absence of an arc failure in the DC circuit 201 on the basis of the scale of the total sum value and a predetermined threshold, and performs the opening of the breaker 210 and alarm output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
