Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arc furnace electrode lifting device capable of continuing the operation stably, by stopping the lifting and lowering of an electrode, when the arc length of other phase is varied by variation of the impedance during arc discharge.SOLUTION: An arc furnace electrode lifting device includes a controller generating a speed command value, and a drive device performing speed control of a motor for lifting and lowering one electrode based on a speed command value. The controller includes an impedance deviation operating section for calculating the deviation of the impedance and a reference value when arc discharge is generated, a control switching section for outputting the deviation and a stop signal for stopping the motor while switching, and a sensitivity correcting section for generating a speed command value based on the deviation or stop signal. The control switching section outputs the stop signal when the arc current and arc voltage go above set values, or when they go below set values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
