PURPOSE: To preclude the necessity by furnishing with special treatment for insulating high frequency current by providing a high-frequency magnetic body enclosing conductors in which high-frequency voltage current is transmitted and high-frequency bypass capacitors connected to the high-frequency grounding side of said conductors.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a welding power source 3 of an MIG welding machine is connected to a torch 2 by means of a feeder 4c and to a high-frequency power source 5 by way of a coil. A wire 4a and a welding wire 8 are passed in a cylindrical high-frequency magnetic body (stopper) 11 made of ferrite or the like, and high-frequency reactor is formed in this part. High-frequency bypass capacitors 6a, 6b ground the wire 4a and the wire 8. When the power source 5 is operated with above arragement, the arc 10 is formed with the high-frequency discharge between the electrode 8a and base metals 1 as trigger. On the other hand, the high- frequency voltage to be applied to the power soucre 3 and a wire feeder 9 via the torch 2, the wire 4a and the wire 8 is sufficiently reduced by the stopper 11 and the capacitors 6a, 6b, and the need for special insulation for these devices is eliminated.
