Abstract:
To provide a radial anisotropy arc-shaped permanent magnet and a manufacturing method thereof that have excellent magnetic properties such as residual magnetic flux density, coercive force, and orientation degree at both a center portion in a circumferential direction and an end portion in the circumferential direction and is difficult to demagnetize.SOLUTION: There is provided a radial anisotropic arc-shaped permanent magnet that has excellent residual magnetic flux density, coercive force, and compounding degree at both a center portion in a circumferential direction and an end portion in the circumferential direction and is difficult to demagnetize by a manufacturing method thereof including a molding step of performing at least consolidation processing on the magnet powder to obtain a preformed body, a plate magnet forming step of extruding the preformed body to obtain a parallel oriented plate magnet having an orientation degree of 0.90 or more, and an extrusion bending step of applying stress to the parallel oriented plate magnet such that compression strain (ε1) is 0.5 or less, and extension strain (ε2) is 0.2 or less to perform bending processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
