Abstract:
To provide an arc-welding method capable of improving the stability of buried arc welding even when a droplet transfer mode in a large current period does not become a rotating transfer in a buried arc-welding which stabilizes a molten weld pool by changing a welding current periodically.SOLUTION: An arc-welding method is a consumable electrode type method for welding a base material by generating an arc by supply of a welding current of average 300 A or more to a welding wire and by making a tip of the welding wire approach the space surrounded by a recessed welding portion formed to the base material by the generated arc. A current decrease period decreasing the welding current and a current increase period increasing the welding current are repeated periodically and further, a pulse large current is additionally supplied at the time of change from the current decrease period to the current increase period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
