Abstract:
To obtain an architectural building material which can be formed from a recyclable woody resin compsn. and is excellent in strengths, rigidity, and resistances to heat and water while retaining the characteristics of wood by using a resin compsn. formed by compositing a woody component and a specific thermoplastic resin.
This architectural material is formed from a resin compsn. comprising 30-60wt.% woody component and 70-40wt.% specific thermoplastic resin excellent in heat resistance, weatherability, etc. A modified polyphenylene ether resin is pref. as the thermoplastic resin.
