Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a vector controller for induction motor which is insensitive to the fluctuation of secondary resistance due to temperature variation or mutual inductance variation by providing a function for learning the values of internal parameters in order to make zero the difference between actual values and command values of the torque current and flux of an induction motor.
CONSTITUTION: The vector controller for induction motor comprises a flux detector 7 and a two-phase linear neuro circuit 12 wherein the flux detector 7 receives an input voltage (v) and an output current (i)(input current to an induction motor 2) of a power converter 1 to estimate actual secondary flux cλr and torque current ciqs. On the other hand, difference between a speed command ωr' and a detected speed ωr, obtained from an adder/subtractor 10c, is integrated 9c and a torque current command iqs' is determined based on some control theory while furthermore a secondary flux command ωr' is generated from a flux command generator 13 based on a detected speed ωr. A neuro circuit 2 receiving command values and actual values of secondary flux and torque current learns internal parameters and outputs a frequency command ωs' thus controlling the induction motor 2.
