Abstract:
To provide an arithmetic device and a motor drive device capable of improving a calculation accuracy of an electric current flowing in a motor.SOLUTION: A control unit performs arithmetic processing. In the arithmetic processing, in step S101, a duty ratio D is acquired. In step S102, a waiting time Ton1 is calculated in accordance with the duty ratio D and a waiting coefficient. In steps S103 to S105, a shunt current value Isd is detected at a detection timing when the waiting time Ton1 elapses. In steps S106 and S107, the shunt current value Isd having been detected at a corresponding timing corresponding to a zero-cross of phase voltages is acquired as a zero-cross current value Ix. In step S108, an average value Ixa is calculated using the shunt current value Isd. In step S109, the average value Ixa is corrected using a correction coefficient K, and an effective current value is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
