Abstract:

To reduce loss in an inner spacer, and, further, effectively avoid the temperature rise of the inner spacer itself.

An inner spacer 11, made of magnetic metal, is provided in an armature core, composed of punched core plates 3. A plurality of recessed grooves 12 are formed on respective surfaces of the inner spacer 11. The recessed grooves 12 are extended from teeth 4 side edge end of the armature core toward the outer circumference of the armature core. An electrical resistance against eddy currents C are increased by the recessed grooves 11, so that an eddy current loss can be reduced.
