Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the armature of a linear motor which reduces warpage occurring in an armature core, and to provide a linear motor.SOLUTION: An armature includes: an armature core having a long base having two principal surfaces facing each other, and a plurality of teeth provided on one principal surface of the base while spaced apart in the longitudinal direction thereof; an armature winding wound around the plurality of teeth; and two long support members arranged to face each other while holding the armature core therebetween in the width direction, and extending in the longitudinal direction of an electric core. The armature core, armature winding and two long support members are bonded integrally by molding using a resin.
