Title:
ARMATURE OF ROTATING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003111315
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an armature of rotating electrical equipment wherein a wire once wound is prevented from flying out of a slot.

The armature of rotating electrical equipment is formed as follows: the armature is provided with a core 7 comprising a plurality of magnetic pole teeth 7a radically arranged with respect to a rotating shaft 6; magnets are placed opposite to the core 7, and slots 41 are formed between adjacent magnetic pole teeth 7a; openings 42 of the slots are formed between adjacent magnetic pole teeth 7a at the faces opposite to the magnets; wires 9 are wound around the magnetic pole teeth 7a via insulator 27 in-between of which the insulator is made of a resin insulating material and covers the coil end faces 40 and both the side faces of the magnetic pole teeth 7a, and coils are formed. In the armature, the insulator 27 is designed so that the opening width of the insulator 27 at the slot openings 42 is smaller than the diameter of the wires 9.
