Abstract:

To obtain an armature for direct-current motor wherein the winding density of an armature coil in slots is high and the winding efficiency is high, and favorable workability is achieved in winding work and armature coil installation work.

Slots 1b are formed between salient poles 1a provided so that the salient poles are extended radially from a rotating shaft 2. Grooves 1c are formed in the side faces of the salient poles facing the slots 1b in parallel with the rotating shaft 2. The armature coils 3 are formed in a tapered shape on bobbins 4 having a center hole into which the salient pole 1a can be inserted and flanges 4a and 4b so that the halves of the slots 1b are occupied by the coils. Latching magnetic pieces 5 made of a magnetic flat plate are provided with projections 5c to be latched into the grooves 1c and folded portions 5a and 5b which clamp both the flanges 4a and 4b of each bobbin 4. The armature coils 3 containing the bobbins 4 each having two latching magnetic pieces 5 clamped facing to the inner surfaces of the center hole in the bobbin 4 are fit onto the salient poles 1c, and the projections 5c are latched into the grooves 1c. Thereby the bobbins 4 are fixed.
