To provide an armature-supporting structure of motor capable of applying proper preload to a bearing and reducing thrust backlashes in an output shaft.
The bearing 21a, of which an outer ring 31 is pressed and fixed in a yoke 15, is used. An O-ring 41 is mounted on the output shaft 12, being adjacent to the bearing 21a. The output shaft 12 includes a large-diameter section 36 and a small-diameter section 37. The O-ring 41 is provided in between the end surface 39 of the large-diameter section 36 and an inner ring 32 and is fitted into a groove section 40, formed between the large-diameter section 36 and the small-diameter section 37. The O-ring 41 reduces backlashes in a ball 33 by applying pre-load to the bearing 21a and accommodate the thrust looseness in the output shaft 12.
