A plurality of first steel wire fixing metals 1 combined tubular around one cable side of a cable body connecting part 15 and a plurality of second steel wire fixing metals 2 combined in a tubular manner around another cable side are used. An armor steel wire 13 of one cable is fixed to the first steel wire fixing metals 2 by welding, and an armor steel wire 14 of another cable is fixed to the second steel wire fixing metals 2 by welding. Welding is performed while separating the steel wire fixing metals 1, 2 from the cable body connecting part 15. The first and second steel wire fixing metals 1 and 2 at the same position in a circumferential direction are connected by a bolt 3 and a nut 4.
