To mass-produce a vehicular rear seat having both a sidewall function and an armrest function of protecting a seated posture of an occupant from a side surface.
An armrest 10 is installed on the lower end of a gutter-shaped bracket 1 fittable to an armrest mechanism installing recessed part 32 arranged on a rear seat back so as to be switched to two modes of a condition of functioning as an armrest 10 by being brought down forward and a housing condition fitted inside the gutter-shaped bracket 1 by being folded upward. A pair of sidewalls 2a and 2b are also installed on the inside both sides of this gutter-shaped bracket 1 so as to be switched to two modes of a condition of functioning as the sidewalls 2a and 2b by being overhung forward from the front edge of the gutter-shaped bracket 1 and a housing condition folded up inside the gutter-shaped bracket 1.
