Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for manufacturing an aromatic compound excellent in productivity, stability, swing operability, and long life, and a manufacturing method of the aromatic compound.SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst for manufacturing an aromatic compound, containing MFI type zeolite satisfying properties represented by following (i) to (iii). These properties include: (i) mesopores having mesopore distribution curve with a peak, half value width (hw) of the peak of hw≤20 nm, maximum value (μ) of the peak of 10 nm≤μ≤20 nm, and mesopore volume (pv) of the mesopore corresponding to 0.05 ml/g≤pv; (ii) no peak in a range of 0.1 to 3 degree in a powder X ray diffraction measurement with diffraction angle of 2θ; and (iii) average particle diameter (PD) being PD≤100 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
