Abstract:
To provide a solution including an aromatic polyamide or an aromatic polyamideimide, the solution containing an aromatic polyamide or an aromatic polyamideimide and a non-aprotic polar solvent and capable of obtaining a film excellent in transparency and rigidity through dry treatment after being applied onto an object such as a glass substrate.SOLUTION: A solution including an aromatic polyamide or an aromatic polyamideimide contains an aromatic polyamide or an aromatic polyamideimide and a non-aprotic polar solvent. In the solution including an aromatic polyamide or an aromatic polyamideimide, a film being 10 μm thick produced by drying the solution after being applied onto a glass substrate has a haze value of 0.0-2.0% and a Young's modulus of 7.0-20.0 GPa at least in one direction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
