Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an aromatic polyester ketone composition having improved heat resistance, being a heat-resistant engineering plastic. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic polyether ketone composition having excellent thermal aging resistance comprising an aromatic polyether ketone and a hydrotalcite of the general formula [Mg1-xAlx(OH)2]-x+[(CO3)x/2.mH2O]-. Heat resistance (thermal aging resistance) is improved by adding the hydrotalcite and the composition has an advantage of extremely slight change in physical properties even at a high temperature of 300 deg.C for a long period of time.
