Title:
AROMATIC POLYSULFONE RESIN MOLDING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06200157
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject material giving a molded article having excellent appearance and mold-releasability and low defective ratio without causing the staining of the mold surface, etc., by compounding an aromatic polysulfone resin with a fatty acid amide and fatty acid bisamide having specific acid value.

CONSTITUTION: The objective material is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polysulfone resin with (B) 0.02-5 pts.wt. (preferably 0.1-3 pts.wt.) of a fatty acid amide and/or fatty acid bisamide having an acid value of ≤4 (e.g. capric acid amide or palmitic acid amide). The material can be produced e.g. by mixing the components A and B in powdery state with a mixer such as Henschel mixer and kneading the mixture with a hot roll, extruder, etc. The component B preferably has particle size to pass ≥100 mesh sieve.
